FYI I was at the nest area just now (6pm) - there was a sizeable crowd of people there including a Channel 10 TV truck. There has been a crowd there all day. The parents were not on the nest; one parent was sitting in a stand of dead trees to the west of the nest site. I am fearful that the parents will not want to return to the site for the night because of all the people. It is supposed to get cold tonight. Since you are the person responsible for this media and public attention it falls to you to ensure that the nest site is clear in the evening.
