I was there a bit earlier at Cutler Wetlands looking for the American Avocet. When I was there, it was feeding near dead center of the marsh. Other than the single avocet and some stilts, I saw no other shorebirds. I did notice a single American White Pelican which hasn't moved on yet this year, paddling through the deeper portion of the lake.
The Black Tern and the Least Bittern would have been really nice birds for me to see!
