Black Tern @ Dump Marsh/Least Bittern and Avocet at Cutler Wetlands, 5/30

I met Angel and Mariel late this afternoon and we quickly relocated the Black Tern they had just found over the canal between Dump Marsh and 248 St. We got killer views as it came to within 20 feet of us. We later went to Cutler Wetlands where there were almost no birds, but did find one of the Avocets in a puddle looking from the east side, an a Least Bittern briefly flew over the southern area. Not a bad afternoon. Hey, they can't all be Tropicbirds!
