Glad to see that other birders are enjoying Green Cay and Wako - it's hard to talk me into going anywhere else, considering the cost of gas and the guaranteed great birding there ;)
On 5/17, on the newly exposed muddy flats near the center, all kinds of shorebirds were seen: Black-necked stilts,Killdeer, Least & Solitary & Spotted sandpipers and what I think is a
Dowitcher - how to tell which one? Need some advice!
Also in the air - least terns, common nighthawks, RS hawks.
