I'm a new birder in the area

Greetings all,

I'm new South Florida. Last year I movced here to Cape Coral after living in Australia for almost 2 1/2 years.

Needless to say, I caught the bird bug in AU. I'm currently breeding budgerigars and I'm getting a rainbow lorikeet next month :-)

Anyeway, nice to meet you all, and I look forward to comparing notes with other locals.

Incidentaly, just about an hour ago I got my best look at a pair of Quakers which hang out near the Publix on Cape Coral Parkway. They were feeding on bottlebrush. Smaller than I was expecting.
