I'm visiting from Los Angeles and would appreciate tips on locations I 'can't miss' before I leave.

Using this board and some helpful posters, I've got terrific photographs of the painted buntings at Okeeleehee (along with a couple of VERY cooperative raccoons). I've hit Wako twice--what a faboulous spot--for the nesting anhingas (my first non-zoo birds) and GBH's, along with my first palm warblers. Went to Green Cay last evening and photographed my first wood stork, Limpkins (with chicks, no less) and got a very late night flyby image or two of a snail kite (also a first for me).

I've got all day Friday and Saturday to hit the wilds--were you me, what would you not miss?

(Once I get home and get my images processed, I'll post a link here where those interested can see my 'captures' of your fabulous fauna)

Best,
John Afdem
