HEy Birders, recently I've seen many Hill Mynas in my neighborhood. Yeesterday I went to a nature park close by and in a palm tree I saw the male and the female Myna. The Hill Myna entered a hole in the palm tree. That was so cool. Today I saw a Pileated Woodpecker and recently heard its call. I saw it in an oak tree very close to my house. I saw it in south miami, close to matheson hammocks. I have a question: Is seeing a Pileated Woodpecker in South miami common or not? I got my recorder and recorded it for about 3 minutes. It was awesome. I've only seen them once in flight. Also today I saw a Red-shouldered hawk or a Red-tailed hawk with its mate in the air. I put up two suet feeders in my backyard. I hope some woodpeckers come and eat. Around my house its full of canary-winged parakeets and Hill mynas everyday. Good birding
