Spider ID Help (No Avian Content)

Take a look at this 7-legged spider I photographed today on my lanai here in Naples, Collier County. I think it is a Selenopid Crab Spider (Family: Selenopidae) but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm it or ID it down to species? I have no idea how it lost one of its legs. Could it be born like that? On second thought, I kinda see where the leg may have been torn off as there's a teeny stub (I think) in the area where the leg should be. If injured, the spider's day's are numbered I think because, like other insects that lose a leg, they die soon after. Correct?
