We've had a feeder in our yard for several years. Today, for the very first time we're aware of, we had a visit from a male cardinal!! I know it's not an uncommon bird for some of you but please understand our excitment. It's one of only a few that we've ever seen here in our area of Coconut Creek. What a beautiful site in the morning sun. Especially, as it sat feeding next to a monk parakeet. The red and green colors made the scene look like Christmas again.
