Photos from Evergreen Cemetary - and important issue!!

I visited the cemetary several times this weekend to find the spindalis fr an out of toen birder. This place was just filled with warblers. Half the time I did not even need my binocs to bird. What a great place.
One Note though. A local woman came up to me and told me that the county was thinking about cutting most of trees and shrubs down along the edge of the cemetery by the canal. That would be a travesty!! She asked if the local birders could get together and maybe start a petition or something. Has anyone heard anything about this and is there anything we could do to intervene?!?!?! Ideas anyone?
