I am glad to hear that they are supposedly only going to remove an exotic species such as the Australian Pine. I only hope, as stated by others, that the damage to the other bird harboring trees and shrubs is minimal.
BUT, do not ever under estimate what the voice of a group of united birders could do!!!!! If we wanted too we could sway an election!! But we will never succeed in doing that if we don't try. I guarantee if we disagreed with what was happening at Evergreen and we came together as one voice - we would be heard!!!! Whether or not we could change their mind at least we would be heard. And the next time a similar issue came up we might actually be able to change their mind. You never know until you try.....Never say die!!!!!
