A belated thank you to the posters who helped me find the four Smooth-billed Anis near Old Griffin Road. I've been traveling around the Ft. Lauderdale Airport for 2 years looking for these birds!
The day I saw the S-B Anis, Friday, March 16th (around 9am), they were around the corner from the 800 building, sitting in a fenced-off park-like area at NW 3rd St. and NW 9th Ave. One of them obligingly flew up to a bordering bush for a photo op, which made me a little nervous because a Kestral was eyeing him from a nearby utility pole. The area looked like a park, but a nearby gate was padlocked. I also saw two Common Ground Doves in one of the lots near the 800 building.
