I am coming to south Florida for a week next Saturday. Two birds which have eluded me throughout my 15 years of birding are Smooth-billed Ani and Shiney Cowbird. A friend of mine, Ed Coyle just returned from a trip to Florida and was able to get both of these birds. I know the info on the Ani, but he suggested I contact you on the possibility of trying for the cowbird. Could you please get back to me and let me know if it is possible to try for this bird? thanks, John Haas
