Andy Bankert, two kids from Ohio and I spent three days and two nights birding around Miami-Dade County and Everglades National Park. Not only did we see a lot of birds, but it was fun to do some birding with other kids my age. With all the jokes and goofing around, I'm surprised we were able to get anything done.
I was picked up atabout 10:00 am on the fourth, and we made our way down to Kendall for bulbuls. Here is sort of a summary of the day:
