Ruby-throated Hummingbird

I planted about 40 shrubs and small trees to attract hummingbirds and butterflies in our yard in Homestead. We still have several more to plant, we will have to get busy.

Not long after the first flowering plants were in the ground this fall, we had two female Ruby-throated Hummingbirds show up. One is here ever day the other much less so.

We are waiting for the Bahama Woodstar to show up, this could be a long, long wait!
