I think I'm familiar with the area; it's immediately north of the original Purple Swamphen lake on Sheridan?
Wally George saw 7 in flight there 26 Nov 1998, and I photographed 2 at the soccer field at NW 172nd and Sheridan in 1998.
Sounds like they're breeding almost as prolifically as the swamphens ...
