The area where the geese were seen is a bit east of the Purple Swamphen area. It is east of I-75 and north of Sheridan Street. The best way to reach it from the Swamphen area is to take Dyke's Road north from Sheridan and go east on Sirling Road.
I believe these geese are more dependent on human assistance than are Purple Swamphens and are best compared to Muscovy Ducks.
