Cuban Emerald has never been documented in the U.S. It would be nice to hear a written description by Kurt or the woman who saw them near the tennis courts. By far the most common hummingbird in fall winter and spring is the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. A lot of people may not be aware that we get a huge number of wintering Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in south Florida. I posted a photo that I took in the Bahamas of a male.
