i saw two male cuban emeralds a few blocks from that area 15 years ago. they hung around blooming scheffelera trees, fighting constantly, and remained in the area for several weeks. i don't know if scheffelera is blooming right now, but if so, i would keep an eye out around the bloomspikes.
