The bird could be a cowbird, based on the bill shape, but it's tough to be certain from the photo. If it is a cowbird fledgling, it's unlikely to be a Shiny or a Brown-headed, based on the apparent solidly blackish underparts.
Young Shinys have pale underparts and brown wings with paler covert tips and two buffy wingbars.
Juvenile Brown-headeds are pale gray below with conspicuous dark streaking, and usually show a pale base to the lower mandible.
The Dec 2000 issue of _Birding_ contains photos of juvenile Shiny and Brown-headed cowbirds.
