Hey birders! I went biking to the same area I always go to (road across Matheson). Yesterday and today have been very good birding. Here are my sightings.

Coopers Hawk: 1 (yesterday)
Chimney Swift: ( 25+ over my house and about 20 on RAM)
Pileated Woodpecker: 3 (all grouped together)
Great-crested Flycatcher: 2 (matheson hammock)
Kingbird species
Red-eyed Vireo: 2 (1 in Matheson Hammock and another on RAM)
Barn Swallow: couple
Northern Parula: 2
Prairie Warbler: about 5
Yellow-throated Warbler: 2
Black-and-white Warbler: 1
American Redstart: 3
Louisiana Waterthrush: 1 (yesterday)
Ovenbird: 1 (FOS for me)

RAM- Road Across Matheson
All the birds were seen on RAM or otherwise noted.

Now I need some help. This weekend a pair of Spot-breasted Oriole caught my attention. They were feeding a small black bird. I thought cowbird right away. I'm thinking its either a Bronzed or Shiny Cowbird. Here is a dull pic I took later afternoon of the bird. Great birding!
