There are signs of migration as Bill Sadowski. Around 5pm I ran into a nice
size flock of Prairies (12-15) and Parulas (10-12). There were also several
Indigo and Painted Buntings hiding near the feeders. Catbird were plentiful as
were Palm Warblers. I also saw a couple of Yellow Rumps and one Spot-breasted
Oriole was singing nearby.
I went by Cutler wetland looking for gulls and whatever else of interest
showed up. No gulls were present, but plenty of other birds to investigate. The
Black-necked Stilts are there and noisy also seen:
Greater & Lesser Yellow Legs
Stilt Sandpipers (3)
Dowitchers (2)
Least Sandpipers (12-15)
Spotted Sandpiper (1)
