whatever you do, don't let the bird go to waste! regardless of laws against possession, please don't just let it rot, which a lot of folks will tell you to do ("just let nature take its course"). find a museum; meanwhile, double bag it with a silica gel packet in your freezer. good luck, and thanks! -ken

: What is the appropriate thing to do with the carcas of a White Crowned Pigeon I found this morning. It appears to have run into a building and broke its neck.
