It's academic, but the southernmost RCWOs are in Lostman's Pines south of Loop Road. Not exactly accessible. I see mine when working in the Raccoon Point area of Big Cypress, and these are also south of Picayune, and also not very accessible. So I'm not really much help, I suppose.

In other woodpecker news, I saw lots of Hairys while doing winter pineland bird surveys in the Addition Lands area of Big Cypress north of 75, perhaps due to some overly hot prescribed burns in the last few years. There were Florida Trail day hikers in there occasionally so it must be accessible somehow. There were also a few Hairys in the Florida Panther Refuge, but I don't think folks can get in there.

: QUESTION-the recently published South Florida Birding Trail Guide stated that the Picayune Strand was the southern most habitat of the Red-cockaded Woodpecker. Is this true and if it is where can they be located at? I tracked down a colony once in Corbett a long time ago in a similar habitat.
