This bird could be a one-day wonder. On the other hand, it could be like the female WESP in Miami-Dade County that stayed for about 2 months (from 11-28-2012 to 2-2-2013) and that meandered all over the extensive Mountain Bike Park on Virginia Key, where the habitat included a lot of Australian Pine & Brazilian Pepper. Somewhat similar habitat can be found in Broward County along the jeep trail (pedestrian/bicycle only) that runs along the E side of Canal-36, accessed either from the W end of Loxahatchee RD or from the westernmost end of Hillsboro BLVD (W of N University DR).
