They seem to be a yearly occurrence on Key Biscayne/Virginia Key in the fall but if I'm not mistaken Jack had one on 4th of July this year on VK. Essentially just keep an eye on the birdboard and listservs for any reports. There are lots of theories but Cooper's Hawks are probably at the end of the list for reasons of extirpation.
