They say teenagers travel in packs. That must be the case today with Lesser Black-backed Gulls. There are 11 today on the flats; most seem to be 1st-Summer, but 2 of them have more yellowish legs, darker mantles and larger amount of pale on the mandible base.
A Sandwich Tern is mixed in with the Royals and Leasts; Wilson's Plovers in addition to Semipalmated.
