The Heron Bay colony was doing OK. Approximately 50 adults birds, did not see any flight capable chicks but did not get to close. There were at least 4 small chicks. Nearby was a potential Killdeer nest. Across the street a potential Black Neck Stilt nest and confirmed Common Nighthawk nest (2 eggs).
