Thinned out trees has definately made easy pickings for the Cooper's Hawk pair who blissfully take a dove a day from one of my 2 feeder areas - the doves are super skittish now! The feathers snow down from the pines, and early the other morning I saw the Coops munching a fresh dove on the ground in the middle of the yard.
