The ENP chat page was slammed along with 45 other National PArk pages by spammers, crammers, etc. It is down maybe for the count. Yellowstone is up and full effort is being used to keep it alive. Look and post there using the Prefix "ENP:" to speed things up. The action of the spammers along with hurricanes Rita/Katrina/Wilma made the operation of the ENP page problematical. Pity.
Link below takes you to the chat page.
All the local "gang" are alive, well, spotting and picture taking. Robins are about which means the northward motion is beginning. We visited Okeeheelee today and were entertained by buntings for over three hours. Indigo and painted male and female everywhere. Also ruby-throated hummers.
Yesterday about 55 red-winged bbs set up shop around my feeders. My car had to go to the wash. But it was fun watching their incessant chatter and "posturing." Then along comes a red-shouldered hawk and the "party's over." The lack of "tree cover" is making for easy picking for the hawks. Such is one result of hurricane Wilma.
