I fully understand why birds get the seasonal urge to migrate. Usually by Christmas, I start checking to see what you all are finding down there and I, too, have a desire to fly south for the winter. It gives us Mainers warm thoughts and an urge to come visit and spend our money.

By the way, what is the status of the Everglades chat page? I haven't seen an update since November.

Just so you don't think you have all the winter specialties, a pair of Great Gray Owls has been ruffling our feathers about a half hour from my home.
