From the one photo, this bird looks like its a juvenile. The crown, cheek and neck are dusky gray. On adults the crown & cheek would be black.
Most adults from the Bahamas have a white throat or light gray throat. Puerto Rican Bananaquits have a pretty noticeable gray throat. I think Cuban birds are similar to Bahama Bananaquits on throat color but I can't recall for sure at the moment
