Yesterday evening I went looking for birds for Bird A Day and June Challenge. At Cutler Wetland I found a few good birds with Larry and Philip... Least Tern, Least Bitter... etc. About 15 mins after they left to look for shorebirds along the stair steps I saw a King Rail. First I've seen at Cutler Wetland... I have heard them before but, not often. I missed getting a photo of the Rail but I heard another one and decided to wait for it... Lucky Me, it made a showing and I got a couple of images.

This morning I decided to go to Tropical Park to see the Wood Ducks...it took a while to find them but I finally did. I quickly tried to get close enough for a good photo. I barely got one off before they when behind a fence. These ducks are very skittish. I was being fairly sneaky and yet I could only get within maybe 75 yards. Cool Ducks
