Yesterday my son and I tried to see the Neotropic Cormorant, the wind and rain were bad. We looked at 3:30 p.m. but did not see it or any other cormorants. Today we arrived at 1:00 p.m. and had the bird across the pond perched with a Double-crested Cormorant on some small trees. As we were getting photos, David arrived and got good looks through our scope. There were three Double-crested Cormorants and the Neotropic Cormorant which is an adult in breeding plumage!
