Thank you jeanette, I agree with pretty much everything you have written today. I agree, it sucks when a cat catches a bird. 99 per cent of cats are really terrible at catching birds, trust me on this, the numbers quoted are beyond a joke. I have farms, I have cats for rodent control. With 2 dozen farm cats, we had 17 species of birds nesting on 20 acres. In15 years I can remember every bird they caught. Since the chicken hawk invasion 7 or 8 years ago, we have had zero breeding birds, year after year. The cats have accounted for less bird kills in 15 years than a single coopers hawk kills in a week.
