Green heron / imho is green back, formerly known as night heron (taxonomists love name changes)
And I think, think, the second bird with your great egret (f/k/a American Egret, f/k/a/ common egret, f/k/a/ white egret) is a tri-color (f/k/a/ Louisianna heron)...it's tough to tell as the angle, light and size don't cooperate. Do this as you review your pictures: the little blue is blue all over. The tri-color has a white splash or bib and often a rusty red around the head and shoulders in the juvenile stage. See ecoconet.net/everglades for examples of both. And, to make it real easy for you, the little blue is actually and muddy white color in the first year turning blue into the second. But when it is blue, it is blue all over.
Stay with this page as you travel west. Great sightings are reported across the Tamiami, up to Corkscrew and environs. Gives you a chance to check things out. And do not, repeat, do not go on Tamiami without taking an airboat ride from a friendly seminole or miccosukee, and do stop at Kirby Storter and look for the bluebirds and the panther tracks. And remember, blue side up! :<}
