I forgot an important bird that is omnipresent at the ENP.
The American Crow. My estimation is that I saw 3-5 per mile driven. If I drove about 40 miles to Flamingo, then we can get an average of 4 birds per mile x 40 miles = 160 birds in total.
Sounds about right as an estimation. Don't worry, I won't count the same birds on the way out:)
