We also went to Green Cay this afternoon, arriving around 5. We were greeted by a mixed flock of warblers right at the entrance, and had a lovely view of a male Tennessee warbler just 10 or 12 feet away. There was a female Indigo Bunting too, otherwise the birds Justin saw.
In the park we saw a lovely mix of our residents getting busy raising the next generation, a few late-leaving migrants, and exciting activity of new arrivals. Among the highlights: a limpkin was feeding a couple of young, there were a couple of Pied-billed grebes and one Sora, and some beautiful least bitterns.
