Shortly after my post, I made it to Enchanted Forest in North Miami. I came up with twelve warbler species in about 2.25 hours of searching. Smith (the last name escapes me) joined me for much of it, and we enjoyed a good-sized mixed flock and birds throughout the park. One warbler that "got away" appeared to be a Tennessee high in a fig, but it never revealed it's identity before it disappeared. It even appeared that more birds were coming in as mid-afternoon appeared.

Cooper's Hawk- 1
Blue-crowned Parakeet- 2
Blue-headed Vireo- 1
Gray Catbird- 2
Ovenbird- 6
Worm-eating Warbler- 7
Northern Waterthrush- 3
Black-and-white Warbler- 13
Common Yellowthroat- 2
American Redstart- 15
Cape May Warbler- 3
Northern Parula- 5
Magnolia Warbler- 1 (a very sharp male)
Blackpoll Warbler- 3
Black-throated Blue Warbler- 7
Prairie Warbler- 9
Indigo Bunting- 1

One of the species at my residence around noon was a Yellow-throated Warbler, making for thirteen warbler species for the afternoon.

Most of these birds should stick around another day or so building up fat for the next hop northward. It looks like our next influx of birds might be Saturday. A south wind on Friday night will encourage birds in the Caribbean to move north, where they may meet inclement weather over south Florida early on Saturday.
