The strong front that passed through the Panhandle and peninsular Florida is now currently fragmenting over the Bahamas, just east of us. Birds crossing the Atlantic this morning are probably going to show up in coastal areas between NE Miami-Dade through Palm Beach County.
Eager to groundtruth a bit, I made a stop by my residence in Miami Shores after work before heading to several traps in North Miami. Just in my yard are five warbler species, with about twelve individuals; the day before, I just had a Black-and-white in the yard.
I'd be curious to hear about reports from areas of Ft. Lauderdale, such as Evergreen Cemetary to see if this event is materializing.
Alex
