Five birders continued to the Dump Marsh and right away, flying over the mound, we observed a Glaucous Gull flying with the Turkey Vultures, Laughing, Herring, and Ringed-billed Gulls. The Glaucous Gull was all light-cream colored underneath, with no black on wingtips, except for a dark area at the end of the bill. This gull was conspicuously larger than the other Gulls. We also observed Wood Storks, 2 Great Blue Herons, Tricolored and Little Blue Herons, Common Moorhen, Am. Coots(70), Blue-wing & Green-wing Teal, Mottled Duck, Snowy Egret, Osprey, Loggerhead Shrike, and a pair of young Northern Pintails or Gadwalls(we needed John). From there we went to Black Point trail and observed 3 Red-breasted Mergansers in open water.
