Bear scat is usually soft with seeds but I have seen it firm with very little hair. also that area is not known for bears but they have been seen in the area.North to the Big cypress area they are common.I saw my first panther in that area in 1983 when they were rare, so my guess would be panther or coyote.Did you look around for tracks?
