: No,not a Superb Starling. The bird at my feeder was not that brilliantly colored and it did not have any white markings on its chest at all. I'll put my camera by the window in hopes that it shows up again.

Both my wife and I now agree that what we saw was a barn swallow. This picture is exactly what we saw on the bird feeder.
