Justin, can you clarify where and when (time of day) you see these swamphen at Green Cay? While I am not looking for swamphen, I make a fairly thorough circuit probably a dozen times each year and I have yet to see a swamphen there. I am almost always there very early and late (like tonight) and other birders I encounter haven't seen them either. Just curious where I should increase my effort!
