The swamphens initially were always in the same spot - along the long north stretch of boardwalk, just west of the bench area, and just before the little s-curve kink...always on the south side of the boardwalk. A family of 2 adults and 4 chicks, which are all now grown. From October through December, they were always in that area. The past few weeks though, they've started to spread out throughout the park - there's usually one or two still along that north stretch, but I've spotted one or two along the west end of the park, just south of the cypress canopy, and also occasionally one or two seems to like hanging out in the northeast corner, between the east hut and the ramp going up to the chickee hut tree stand, towards the north where the lone tree stump is.
