I get a few sparrows. I used to get what I thought was a couple, one male, one female, but I haven't seen the female in a long time. (I had an American Kestrel on my pine tree one entire day, and I keep thinking it might have gotten the little sparrow.) The caged feeder I have doesn't keep them out, but the buntings don't have any trouble sharing with them. I got the caged feeder so that the smaller birds could get at some food because I have so many mourning doves.
