manatees on the move

Our first real cold has the manatees moving into broward in big numbers. I've seen 18 in the past two days. One really welcome observation is how few big adults have any prop scars. twenty years ago when the gables waterway was more heavily used during extended cold weather, almost all of the adults were chewed up pretty badly. It's amazing to me how well they have figured out these animals and what they need. Great job by the manatee people.
