300 in your first big year is remarkable! You had a sound gameplan from the get go, you put in the effort, and despite any setbacks, persevered. It was iffy there at the last minute. You got all the best birds in the county, and most people in the country don't have all the birds that you got in just one year! You are are a gentleman birder and a true good sport, and we will miss you. I hope all goes well up in NC, and when you see a Fea's Petrel please send it down our way. Come back soon, we need more birders like you. Hopefully my new boat will be ready by the time you get back, but I'm not holding my breath!
