I spent two days at St. Mark's and the surrounding area. I had planned to
head for the Fork-tailed spot, but didn't want to waste an entire day just
waiting, so I went to Merritt Island and the National Seashore.

My first good photo of a Blue-winged Teal

Female Hooded Merganser

Male Hooded Merganser

Pair of Mergansers in flight.

This Red-bellied Woodpeckers home is about 10 ft. from the road.

Red Head

Believe it or Not, I think this is my first photo of a Red-winged Hawk.

Ring-necked Duck

These Scrub Jays were in the same spot that John Boyd found them the last time I
was here.

At the National Seashore there were a few shorebirds and a few Terns, Gulls
and Pelicans. I also saw about 100 Gannets flying to the north. I don't
understand that, but that is what they were doing.

Black-bellied Plover

This is how I use to see Brown Pelicans along the Flagler County coast.

My week isn't over yet. Today I went to ENP
