I was in the area to do some fishing for Peacock Bass and did see a female harrier at Lucky Hammock. There wasn't much going on at Lucky Hammock or the Annex, save for Short-tailed Hawk and Magnolia Warbler.
Anhinga Trail was full of Least Bitterns (all heard) at dusk.
A 6-7 foot Burmese Python was crossing the road right at the turn-off for West Lake this evening.
Three Whip-poor-wills were on the main road.
